Our aim is to ensure that Health and Safety is integrated into all our management systems and operations so that prevention of work-related injury, illness and incidents become an integral part of our organisational zero harm culture.

The senior management are committed to ensuring a safe, supportive, protective, and healthy work environment and are accountable for health and safety performance and ensuring the Safety Management System is working effectively within their work areas. The Company employees acknowledge they each have a role in protecting others from harm.

The Company will take all reasonable and practicable steps to eliminate health and safety risks in our workplaces. When elimination is not possible, we will strive to minimise the risks in order to achieve our ultimate goal of zero harm. In working towards this goal, the Company is committed to:

• Adopting and promotion of the provisions of the relevant state and territory Health and Safety Acts and associated regulations, codes of practice, standards, and guidelines.
• Providing safe plant and equipment
• Providing an adequate, responsible financial budget for Health and Safety
• Implementation of risk and hazard management systems which are relevant and suitable as well as identify, promote, and continually improve health and safety performance.
• Provision of appropriate health and safety and task related training to all employees
• Maintaining relevant policies, procedures, systems, information, training, recognition programs and organisational structures to support and communicate effective health and safety practices throughout the Company.
• Establishment of clear targets and objectives on an annual basis to improve health and safety in the workplace.
• Effectively disseminating health and safety information to all employees through the conducting of prestart and toolbox talks as part of each Work Group’s consultative process
• Maintaining a positive safety culture through encouraging active participation, consultation and cooperation of all employees, contractors and visitors in promoting and developing measures to improve health and safety at work
• Actively responding to and investigating all incidents and ensuring injured employees are returned to suitable work at the earliest opportunity through effective rehabilitation practices

Enviro Sweep promotes a proactive health and safety management philosophy based on effective communication, assessment, and control of hazards. The Company Workplace Health and Safety Management Systems are overseen by Management, reporting to the Director, workgroups and elected Health and Safety Representatives.
