Active Mobility & Shared Paths
We support cleaner, safer shared spaces with targeted sweeping services for footpaths, cycleways, tourist precincts, and parklands. Our teams manage seasonal challenges such as leaf litter and sand drift to ensure walkways and recreational areas remain accessible and visually appealing all year round.

Why Footpath and Bike Path Sweeping Is Important
Footpaths and shared-use bike paths are prone to the build-up of:
- Fallen leaves and twigs
- Dirt, dust, and general debris
- Litter and rubbish
- Sand or gravel from nearby landscaping or roadworks
- Organic matter from overhanging trees and seasonal shedding
If left unattended, this debris can become hazardous — causing slips, reducing accessibility, and diminishing the overall appearance of the area. Routine sweeping helps maintain the cleanliness and safety of public walkways and enhances the enjoyment of residents, tourists, and daily commuters alike.
To service narrow and pedestrian-sensitive areas, we use compact sweepers such as the Scarab Minor and Azura. These machines are:
-
Highly manoeuvrable for narrow footpaths and bike lanes
-
Low-noise and low-emission — ideal for use in urban and residential environments
-
Designed to deliver precise sweeping without damaging infrastructure or landscaping
-
Equipped with powerful suction and debris collection for maximum cleanliness
Their compact size and advanced technology make them the perfect choice for pathways, laneways, plazas, shopping strips, and recreational areas.
